鋼襯塑儲（chǔ）罐具有無焊接縫、不滲漏、無（wú）毒性、抗老化、抗衝擊、耐腐（fǔ）蝕、壽命長、符合衛（wèi）生（shēng）標準等優點。與傳統（tǒng）的鋼襯塑料板儲槽、鋼襯橡膠（jiāo）儲罐、鋼襯玻璃鋼貯槽相比（bǐ），具有更良好的耐腐蝕、不（bú）滲漏、不剝離、耐磨損、可耐一定壓力、可（kě）耐較高（gāo）溫度、壽命更長等優點。

鋼襯塑儲罐檢修周期分為（wéi）兩種：中修和大修，中修一般是2-4個月，大修一般是一年，對於中修的話，就是清洗或更換液位計修理或更換進、出口及排汙閥門疏通清理冷卻水盤管。檢查修理安全閥放空阻火器，修補防腐（fǔ）層和絕熱層。大修就包括中修項目修理儲罐內件，對發現有裂紋，嚴重腐蝕等部（bù）位，相應修補或更換筒節。根據內外部檢驗要求（qiú），以及經過修補或更換筒節後，進行試漏，對成功內外部檢驗中發現的（de）其他問題進行處理。
